Shriman Chittoor
Shriman Chittoor is a founding member and the current director of Breaking the Sky. Currently a sophomore at Rice University, Shriman is majoring in Cell Biology and Genetics on the pre-med track, where he serves as an EMT, conducts research, and achieved a 97th percentile score on the MCAT. He is an alumnus of Clements High School in Sugar Land, TX, where he distinguished himself in science competitions, including reaching the semifinals of the USA Biology Olympiad and being part of the top-placing CHS JETS Science Bowl A Team.
Passionate about making knowledge more accessible to future generations and the community, Shriman co-founded Breaking the Sky with three peers. As part of BTS, Shriman aims to disseminate science material through weekly classes, friendly competitions, and outreach events. In his free time, Shriman enjoys running, working out, watching sports and YouTube, as well as playing video games.
